A line of light appeared in the night sky in many cities of India. This line of lights looked like a lighted train passing in the night.
Actually, these are the Starlink internet satellites of the world's richest person, Tesla and SpaceX owner Elon Musk, which also passed through the sky of India.
Elon Musk releases these satellites into space on his Falcon-9 rocket almost every other month. This rocket has two stages.
The first stage usually returns to Earth 9 months after launch. Whereas, the second stage places the Starlink satellites in low Earth orbit and after some time does a crash landing back.
Elon Musk wants to provide the best and fastest internet access from space all over the world through his Starlink internet satellites.
40 countries are currently taking advantage of this satellite service. Philippines is the first country in Asia to take advantage of this service.
Starlink Internet satellites fly at an altitude of 550 to 570 km above the Earth. Sunlight falls on them from the other side of the earth, making them look like a row of bulbs at night.
On February 3 this year, SpaceX launched 49 Starlink Internet satellites. But after a few hours, another solar storm destroyed 40 satellites.
However, after that Elon Musk's company SpaceX has launched Starlink Internet satellites several times. Recently these satellites have been launched twice.
