'The Story of Cinderella' is an Italian-Japanese animation television series produced in 1996. This is the most popular TV series among all 'Cinderella Stories' till date.
This animation series is based on a fictional story of Cinderella and Prince Charles. The series was produced by Tatsunoko Productions and Mondo TV.
The series originally aired from 4 April to 3 October 1996, consisting of 26 episodes. The entire album was composed by Jon Spisito and the lyrics were written by Paola Granatelli.
The main characters of the series include Cinderella, Prince Charles, Cinderella's stepmother and her two daughters, a good angel, Alice (a friend of Prince Charles), some of Cinderella's friends, and the villainous Duke Jarrell.
