Winners of the Physics Nobel Prize 2022 are three Scientists
The Nobel Prize in Physics 2022 has been awarded to three Scientists, "Alain Aspect, John F. Clauser, and Anton Zeilinger" for quantum mechanics.
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the Nobel Prize 2022 in Physics to these three Scientists.
The Nobel Prize 2022 in Physics has been awarded “for experiments with entangled photons, establishing the violation of Bell inequalities and pioneering quantum information science.”
The Physics Nobel Prizes 2022 winners have conducted groundbreaking experiments using entangled quantum states, where two particles behave like a single unit even when they are separated.
The results have cleared the way for new quantum information-based technology.
Alain Aspect, the winner of the Nobel Prize 2022 in Physics, said
“The conclusion is, yes, quantum mechanics resists all possible attacks!”
Anton Zeilinger, the winner of the Nobel Prize 2022 in Physics, said,
"It’s probably one of the most beautiful theories ever invented.”
John Clauser, the winner of the Nobel Prize 2022 in Physics, said,
“What a waste of time, now start doing some real physics!”
Last year, the award "Physics Nobel Prize 2021" was rewarded to Syukuro Manabe, Klaus Hasselmann, and Giorgio Parisi for predicting the complexity of nature for understanding climate change.
Next announcement of the Nobel prizes 2022 -
Nobel Prize 2022 will be announced in Chemistry on Oct 5th, followed by Literature on Oct 6th, Nobel Peace Prize on Oct 7th, and economics on Oct 10th.
The prize, arguably among the most prestigious in the scientific world, is awarded by the Nobel Assembly of Sweden's Karolinska Institute, and it is valued worth 10 million Swedish crowns ($900,357).
