History of the World Environmental Health Day 2022 ---->

The International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH) launched World Environmental Health Day on September 26, 2011. Since then, it has been celebrated annually.

The IFEH is a 44-member organization that works to increase awareness about the health of our environment.

IFHE was established in London in 1986 with the goal of conducting scientific and technical research on environmental health and exchanging ideas among countries.

IFEH established this day to increase awareness of various environmental health issues.

For more than 32 years, the IFEH has been working to improve health concerns that affect human well-being.

To keep ourselves healthy, we must keep our environment clean and healthy.

The purpose of World Environmental Health Day is to encourage everyone to contribute to environmental protection and to acknowledge the work done by environmental health workers worldwide.

Several organizations and institutes host symposiums, conferences, and other events on this day to increase awareness of environmental health.

Organizations like MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology (India), Accra Metropolitan Assembly (Ghana), and Environmental Health (Australia) are among those hosting events this year in their respective regions.
