Qualities or Characteristics of a good Questionnaire in Research:

A good questionnaire should include the following characteristics (qualities)–

• A cover letter that states the survey’s aims and scope.
• A well-written list of questions should be included in a questionnaire.
• The number of questions should be minimum.
• It should be as short and comprehensive as possible.
• Questions should be clear and simple.
• Questions must be attractive and interesting.
• The instructions should be clear and complete.
• Do not ask personal questions.
• Create it without bias.
• In questions, double negatives should be avoided.
• The questionnaire should focus on a topic that is significant.
• Questions should be arranged in a logical order.
• Ask a single question at a time.
• The language of questions must be in affirmative sentences.
• In a query, mathematics or calculations should not be imposed.
• It is also a bad idea to combine two questions into one.
• Each query should only be used to collect a single piece of information.
• Only data that cannot be obtained from other sources should be sought using a questionnaire.

एक अच्छी प्रश्नावली में निम्नलिखित विशेषताएं (गुण) शामिल होनी चाहिए:

• प्रश्नावली में प्रश्नों की एक अच्छी तरह से लिखित सूची शामिल की जानी चाहिए।
• प्रश्नों की संख्या न्यूनतम होनी चाहिए।
• यह यथासंभव संक्षिप्त और व्यापक होना चाहिए।

• दो प्रश्नों को एक ही प्रश्न में मिलाना भी एक अच्छी योजना नहीं है।
• प्रत्येक प्रश्न का उपयोग केवल एक ही जानकारी एकत्र करने के लिए किया जाना चाहिए।
• प्रश्नावली का उपयोग करके केवल वही डेटा मांगा जाना चाहिए जो अन्य स्रोतों से प्राप्त नहीं किया जा सकता है।
