Advantages of Questionnaires:
Questionnaires have the following advantages:
1. One of the most significant advantages of questionnaires is that they are uniform; all respondents see the same questions.
2. It is a cost-effective method, no matter the size of the universe.
3. The interviewer’s prejudice (bias) is removed when the respondents answer the questions in their own words.
4. Respondents have sufficient time to think and respond.
5. Because of its wide coverage, it is also possible to reach responders who live in remote places.
6. In the questionnaire method, responses can be received very quickly.
7. Questionnaires are the most effective way to acquire information about some personal, secret matters.
8. It relieves respondents of the need to answer immediately. He can respond at his convenience, whereas an interview or observation requires a definite time and situation fixation.
9. A questionnaire can be used later in a deep investigation by any other approach as a preliminary instrument.
Limitations/Disadvantages of the Questionnaire:
Questionnaires have the following limitations:
1. Because respondents may not be able enough to understand the question correctly, the risk of collecting wrong and incomplete information is high in the questionnaire.
2. The non-response rate is high.
3. It can be tough to analyse some questions.
4. Feelings and emotions are difficult to express.

प्रश्नावली की सीमाएं/नुकसान: प्रश्नावली की निम्नलिखित सीमाएँ हैं:
1. क्योंकि कुछ उत्तरदाता प्रश्न को सही ढंग से समझने में सक्षम नहीं हो सकते हैं, प्रश्नावली में गलत और अधूरी जानकारी एकत्र करने का जोखिम अधिक है।
2. इसमें गैर-प्रतिक्रिया दर अधिक है।
3. कुछ प्रश्नों का विश्लेषण करना कठिन हो सकता है।
4. इसमें भावनाओं को व्यक्त करना मुश्किल है।
